NUST, School of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (SEECS) is organizing Open House 2024 on Thursday, 2 May 2024 to showcase the skills of their graduating students and to provide a networking platform for students and industry leaders. This platform will provide employers and leaders in the business, industry, and education sectors a firsthand chance to interact with the graduating students of SEECS.
The Open House will enable the representatives from many esteemed organizations to interact with our graduating students of Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering and Computer Science streams. This platform will provide the industry the opportunity to overview:
- The final year project of graduating students
- To review the resumes of the students
- To schedule on-site or follow-up interviews and
- To share with them their organization’s existing and future needs.
At NUST SEECS, we take pride in chiseling our students into well-trained and appropriately groomed professionals in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering & Computer Science. Our graduates are actively sought by the industry. Our Alumni are occupying promising positions in prestigious industrial and business houses, both in the public and private sectors.
Objectives
- Provide an avenue to our outgoing graduates of BEE (Bachelors in Electrical Engineering), BESE (Bachelors of Engineering in Software Engineering), and BSCS (Bachelors of Science in Computer Science) to display their hands-on ability
- Help the graduating students launch their professional careers
- Present the students a unique opportunity to interact with representatives of leading industries and business houses
- Showcase the projects of our graduates to the employers and education/business/industry leaders to demonstrate how they address local and international industrial problems
- Facilitate corporate recruiters’ to interview the students onspot and help them identify potential employees in the shortest possible time
- Provide an evaluation platform where the industry representatives select the best student project
- The students will get the chance to receive unbiased feedback. This will help them to further improve their ideas
